Gaffers
and Luggers is a traditional Cornish boatbuilding business
that has been established for over 40 years, passing on from
father to son the skills of building traditional quality boats
to a very high quality at tregatreath yacht yard and standard
with that added personal touch. Gaffers and Luggers provide
ample facilities at tregatreath yacht yard to lay up quality
boats over winter. Tregatreath yacht yard is in fact one of
the largest winter-lay-up sites in the near locality, with
a slipway, a large solid quay and all necessary facilities
for traditional large and small quality boats. In addition
to building our own range of quality boats we always have
at any one time a unique bespoke boat project or projects
that we are designing and building for our customers. The
Gaffers & Luggers team is skilled in handling all aspects
of a project - from design concepts through to the build and
fitting out of the boat. All of this work is carried out in-house
by us at tregatreath yacht yard yard. Because all aspects
are handled and controlled by our skilled and experienced
team, you can be confident that your boat project will reflect
the craftsmanship you would expect and that we will deliver
the project on schedule and within the agreed budget.
