Gaffers
and Luggers is a traditional Cornish boatbuilding business
that has been established for over 40 years, passing on from
father to son the skills of building traditional fishing boats
design to a very high quality and standard with that added
personal touch. Gaffers and Luggers provide ample facilities
for traditional fishing boats design. It is in fact one of
the largest traditional fishing boats design companies in
the near locality, with a slipway, a large solid quay and
all necessary facilities for traditional fishing boats design.
In addition to building our own range of boats we always have
at any one time bespoke boat projects that we are designing
and building for our customers. The Gaffers & Luggers
team is skilled in handling all aspects of bespoke boat projects
- from design concepts through to the build and fitting out
of the boat. All of this bespoke boat projects work is carried
out in-house by us at our boat yard. Because all aspects are
handled and controlled by our skilled and experienced team,
you can be confident that your bespoke boat projects will
reflect the craftsmanship you would expect and that we will
deliver the project on schedule and within the agreed budget.
