Gaffers
and Luggers is a traditional falmouth working boats boatbuilding
business that has been established for over 40 years, passing
on from father to son the skills of building hand-built boats
to a very high quality and standard with that added personal
touch. Gaffers and Luggers provide ample facilities to lay
up traditional falmouth working boats over winter. It is in
fact one of the largest winter-lay-up sites in the near locality,
with a slipway, a large solid quay and all necessary facilities
for traditional large and traditional falmouth working boats
boats. In addition to building our own range of hand-built
boats we always have at any one time a unique bespoke boat
project or projects that we are designing and building for
our customers. The Gaffers & Luggers team is skilled in
handling all aspects of a project - from design concepts through
to the build and fitting out of the traditional falmouth working
boats. All of this work is carried out in-house by us at our
boat yard. Because all aspects are handled and controlled
by our skilled and experienced team, you can be confident
that our hand-built boats will reflect the craftsmanship you
would expect and that we will deliver the project on schedule
and within the agreed budget.
