28 FOOT FALMOUTH WORKING BOAT
GRP GAFF CUTTERS

28 FOOT - Popular demand has led to the addition of a 10' coachroof giving a spacious and comfortable family cruising boat. The standard open boat as used in oyster dredging and racing, is still produced if required.

Below decks the main cabin has 6' headroom and all basic necessities. To the starboard side there is a double bunk which converts to a dining area made possible by a space saving table which slides up and down an aluminium pole. There is a large hanging locker which is additional to the lockers under the double berth on the starboard side. To the port side is the galley with gas cooker and grill and stainless steel sinks over a further two large cupboards. The forward end of work space lifts up to make a chart table. The forepeak has berths for two adults or three children with a sea toilet under one of the berths leaving ample storage underneath the other. As with the 23' berth cushions are available in hardwearing cruiser fabric.

The 8' cockpit has good visibility and ample room. The design is similar to the 23' with two cockpit lockers and rigid water tank and engine fitted under the cockpit sole, the fuel tank and bilge pumps fixed under the side decks. Set into the cabin sides are six brass portholes, three either side, four opening and two fixed.

An alternative cabin layout provides the same fittings but in the main cabin there is a single berth either side of a drop leaf table with a slightly different galley arrangement. Customers are invited to design their own cabin to suit their individual needs, in this case the boats will be priced accordingly.
